Troop Member of the US-BFE:
Good day, troop member. Your mission should you choose to accept it, involves reading fluently daily, paying attention in class, studying vocabulary words, working with words using phonics and decoding strategies, and understanding the text. By doing these things, you should reach the target goal of the mission.
You may select a member of you troop (classroom) or battalion(school) to help you, but it is essential that one member of your team be your drill instructor, also known as, the teacher. Your instructor is a highly qualified professional. It is important that you complete your daily assignments to reach the goal of 78% correct on weekly reading tests. It will be your responsiblity to keep track of your progress on this mission. Your ability to reach the goal will help you to move up the ranks. Do not let the troops down. Be STRONG!

Another part of your mission, is to problem solve and think critically. This involves fast computation in addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. You will be timed during morning roll call. Part of being a candidate to become a four star general will be thinking fast on facts. Study them and master them completely. Again, you and your troop must pass the quarterlies with 78% or better to complete the mission.
This mission will not be difficult if you follow the lead of the leaders at the US-BFE. Remember to be all that you can be this year and work towards 78% or better on all assignments!
If you have questions, please contact the drill instructors of your troop or your fearless leaders.
Saluting your efforts!
Your special mission officers,
Mrs. McKillop
Mrs. Horrall
